The figure of Jalaram Bapa, the great Hindu saint from Virpur in Gujarat has been intricately carved out of brass with a rare degree of smoothness. The head is totally covered with the turban and the body upto knee is adorned with a coat. He is wearing some ornaments on his neck and with one hand he is holding a stick. He is also wearing a dhoti. The figure displays a great sense of gracefulness and the saintly character of the 19^th century saint, who treated both the Hindus and Muslims as brothers and who served the needy is evident in the statue. No saint could pass by his ashram without having some food.
