A paradigm of the victory of the good over the evils, the tribal folkart figurine is a fine repository of the Indian tribal culture and traditions. Goddess Durga was born out the collective energies of all the leading gods and goddesses to kill the demon Mahishasura who conquered the three worlds. The figure has been brought out in the lost wax casting method which reveals a deeper sense of artistry and skill of the Adivasi Murtikar (tribal sculptor).
